Happy Birthday to the wonderful amari!

Hope you have a fantastic birthday :)

I really, really didn't want to get out of bed this morning. Mostly because it'll be empty by the time I get home, and will stay that way until Friday. This whole past week has seriously spoiled me. Best week I've had in a very, very long time. Hopefully this week will pass quickly. I always feel better when mr_sarcasm is around.

Friday was a crazy day at work as Pat realized at the last minute that she hadn't really done any of the prep work for this week. I ended up staying until almost 6pm. (very frustrating since I had hoped to leave by 3 or 4). Afterwards was a very nice dinner at an Italian restaurant in New Haven for mr_sarcasm. Saturday and Sunday were both spent just relaxing and hanging out. Saturday afternoon we took a nice drive out to a comic shop and I now have a stack of some must read items. Yesterday was for watching football and more relaxing.

I have a number of things to get done this week, both at work and not. Pat is out of town at a series of conferences this week. Hopefully she won't have any emergencies and she won't need anything too much while she's gone (I would hope that after the ridiculous amount of work we did on Friday she'd have pretty much everything she needs).

I also need to call the car repair shop owner at some point today. They ended up replacing my alternator (yes, you all called it, no, I don't know why the repair shop didn't know what the problem was the first time). But they are claiming that the repairs they did on Wednesday also needed to be done. I will be talking with the owner to request a refund on that work since it pretty clearly wasn't the source of the problem.
